WHO WE ARE

INGA ZIEMINA

Inga is a Director of Coaching at IngasTennisSchool, she has achieved a Level 4 Accredited performance Coach qualification with LTA as well as USPTA qualification in the United States. Inga has recently been awarded Devon Development Coach of the Year award 2023! 🙂

Originally from Latvia, Inga played National and International junior tennis representing her Country. After completing high school in Latvia she embarked on a journey to USA where she played College Tennis for Ouachita Baptist University on a full tennis scholarship. After University Inga started coaching tennis in various setups and organisations and across multiple countries.

After coming to the UK she studied Sports Coaching Science at a postgraduate level at Kingston University in London, coached at top level academies in London, developed and run a successful coaching programme at Buckhurst Hill.

In the last 4 years Devon & Cornwall has become home where Inga runs a thriving adult & junior programme across venues like Bude Tennis Club, Tintagel Tennis Club and Callington Tennis Centre.

Inga is also currently involved with Tennis Cornwall as a Coaching Lead, Team Captain and County Squad Coach for orange and green ball groups.

In her spare time she loves surfing, enjoys hiking with her two Labradors and of course always happy to go for a nice meal! 🙂

KATHERINE BELL ROWE

Katherine lives in Plymouth with her husband Justin and her 2 cats. She loves tennis as its enjoyable, social and fun to play. She also plays netball for a local club in Plymouth and enjoys going to the beach, swimming and surfing.

Katherine started playing tennis at Exmouth Tennis Centre when she was 8. She then moved to Exeter and played at Victoria Park and played in the British College Finals for the South West.

Katherine went to University of St Mark & St John and since then she has been a member at Mannamead and plays in Division 1 in the Plymouth & District League

She is a Level 3 LTA Coach and is coaching groups at Tavistock on Wednesday afternoons and also providing individual lessons. This year she hopes that she can increase the number of lessons that she is doing. Katherine is also actively encouraging the next generation of tennis players to play, enjoy and excel at the game.

WILLIAM NEWMAN

William loves to play tennis as it keeps him fit and healthy, it is social and it is fun. 

His hobbies outside of tennis are woodworking, art, hiking and travel.

William has been playing tennis since his early teens.

He is currently a level 1 Assistant tennis coach and is currently working on completing LTA tennis instructor course (level 2) in the near future.
